This is Mr. Carnley's first year at Navo MS as the assitant band director. Mr. Carnley is originally from Killeen TX and is a 2012 graduate from the University of North Texas. After student teaching in Denton ISD, Mr. Carnley taught in Ponder ISD first as the assistant band and choir director, and eventually head band director for the high school program. From 2019-2024, Mr. Carnley was the assistant band director at Terry Middle School in Mesquite ISD. Mr. C and his wife, Shannon, are excited to be back in the Denton area where many of their friends live. In his freetime, Mr. C enjoys playing games of all varieties (video, board, and card) and skateboarding when weather and age permit!
